2014 Fayetteville Mother of the Year Pageant

  • John Wesley United Methodist Church

The MOY fund-raising project was initiated by the late Kelly Miller Alexander, Sr. in 1955. Its purpose is to supplement the local, state, and national budgets. The monetary amount sent by the local to the Nation office was considered the Branch's Freedom Fund Contribution and entitled a Brach to register delegates at the National  Convention. The winners are sent to Raleigh, NC for the annual Freedom Day Celebration to compete for the coveted NC NAACP Mother of the Year crown and title.

If you would like to purchase a ticket for this event, please contact our office or any member of the NAACP. Tickets will also be sold at the door. Don't forget to invite a friend.
